About RMU Nexus

Cultivating an interconnected community that honors Indigenous wisdom and leverages advancements in technology to build a more equitable world.

Our Mission

The RMU Nexus, in alignment with the meaning of its acronym (Righteous Motivation of Unity), presents a visionary approach to community and economic organization—addressing the pressing need for systemic change in the face of growing inequality, environmental degradation, and social disconnection.

Guided by five foundational principles—Reticulation, Reciprocity, Respect, Responsibility, and Regeneration—we are building a unified network that honors the teachings of Indigenous peoples and integrates them with modern technology to build a more equitable world.

Our Vision

A future where human activities contribute positively to the health of our planet and the well-being of all its inhabitants—where the basic needs of everyone can be met without placing monetary value over every aspect of our lives.

By reimagining our relationships with each other and the environment, we strive to create a replicable model for community organization that fosters an interconnected, sustainable, and equitable society.

Our Values: The 5 R's

Five foundational principles guide everything we do and shape how we approach community, economy, technology, and the natural world.

Reticulation

Forming the network of relationships, resources, and knowledge that makes a community resilient, adaptive, and interconnected.

Reciprocity

Respect

Honoring the inherent worth and dignity of all individuals, cultures, and the natural world—traditional wisdom and modern knowledge held in equal standing.

Responsibility

Personal accountability and collective duty for the well-being of our community, our resources, and the generations to come.

Regeneration

Going beyond sustainability to actively restore and revitalize our lands, cultures, and communities for future generations.

What We Do

Our ecosystem of programs and initiatives turns these principles into action—addressing real-world challenges like hunger, homelessness, addiction, education, and environmental decay.

Community & Economic Organization

Non-hierarchical, circular governance where every voice is heard through consensus, general assemblies, elders, and skill circles.
